Elriel was feeling overwhelmed. One of the guards had helped her alight from her coach, as Celebriel dismounted gracefully from her horse. Glorfindell stood in the doorway watching as Elriel ascended the steps, her company arranged behind her.
“Come Elriel a feast is prepared in you honour. Come!” Elceleb called as he ran ahead to warn the servants of he arrival.
The imposing figure of the lord Glorfindell was all Elriel could think of, would he be kind? Loving, caring, careful?
As she reached his side, he whispered softly into her ear.
“Yes my love I shall be.” Stretching out his hand he took hers, kissed it, and tucked it into his own. They walked side by side all through the magnificent castle till the reached the dinning hall.
